Group Sessions
In the group work, we are exploring the journey of embodying the essential Self and what it means to live and relate free of the disguises and compensations we have settled for. We are doing this in the company of spiritual companions. The people who attend these groups share a practice of self discovery that builds inner awareness.
Johanina weaves lineage-based Tantric teachings from the Kashmiri Tantras into the fabric of transformative inner work. These teachings, presented in an experiential format, include meditation, inquiry, movement, breathwork, and partnered and group exercises.

What Happens In The Yoga of Love and Transformation?
In this group, we explore the two paths of love, the love that is the essence of our being and the love that we want to experience when we love another. This journey takes us into spiritual terrain, as well as into the ways we have become conditioned.
We are frequently drawn to spiritual and personal growth with a desire to improve some aspects of our lives, perhaps in an attempt to find greater fulfillment in love. And then we discover we must examine our assumptions and beliefs about who we are and what love is. It is said that on the spiritual journey "we go to god alone." Yet, many of us are finding that spiritual partners are invaluable on the journey. We are exploring the inner game of love, the re sourcing of the essential qualities of our Being and expanding our capacity to live in the unified state of unconditioned love.
Relational love is not easy. Two conditioned and flawed people come together out of a desire to share the bliss of divine love and find one another's personalities at least occasionally annoying. How do we practice being one with another when we are being triggered and feeling defensive? How do we live a spiritually fulfilling life and share this with a beloved? This is the inquiry of The Yoga of Love and Transformation.
What is Unique About This Approach to Tantra?
The Yoga of Love and Transformation weds yoga, psychology and spiritual philosophy. Tantra is frequently confused with sacred sex and like Yoga, Tantra is frequently practiced as a physical exercise without recognizing its spiritual and transformative dimensions.
Our approach is concerned with the desire for personal and relationship fulfillment and the spiritual terrain of that quest. It addresses the psychological issues that obstruct inner freedom and fulfillment and offers people tools, understanding, and opportunities to experience the essential nature we call Self, and the possibility of unconditional love in conscious relationship.
