Psycho-Spiritual Therapy and Inquiry
sessions in San Francisco and Petaluma California
Psychotherapy and spiritual inquiry work together to help you reach a deep inner knowing of what is true for you and what really matters in your life. The Psycho-Spiritual Inquiry process we use is used in several schools of transformation and almost always leads to a deeper knowing and understanding of one’s authentic self. In my work, I focus on how to change, how to embody, and how to make a lasting transformation.
Psycho-Spiritual Inquiry provides the depth of understanding and a practical doable road map for moving through issues and obstacles to a new place of clarity with a fresh sense of direction. It is very simple and is easily learned in one session, and you immediately begin to reap the benefits that only deepen with continued practice.
What is Psycho-Spiritual Inquiry?
Psycho-Spiritual Inquiry is an open, interested and compassionate attitude toward whatever you are feeling or facing in your life. Most of us have learned a set of beliefs and assumptions about how things are and should be and we are frequently upset or disappointed when life doesn’t match our expectations.
Psycho-Spiritual Inquiry offers a fresh take on yourself, your beliefs and judgments. It shows you a different way to approach issues and stumbling blocks by showing how to directly experience your own truth, and then taking you through the process of transforming your life, step by step. These are the steps to transforming the issues and obstacles that stand between you and real inner fulfillment. In your session with me I will show you how to:
- Deepen your ability to know and love yourself
- Stop living out unfulfilling stories and beliefs from the past
- Be more present and available for what is true now
- Access and live from your own deep truth
- Discover what really matters in your life
- Learn to turn issues and obstacles into stepping-stones to fulfillment.
Psycho-Spiritual Inquiry is informed and inspired by the Focusing method developed by Eugene Gendlin and the open-ended inquiry practiced in the Diamond Heart and Diamond Logos schools. We use the following skills to accomplish our work:
- Awareness and focus
- Presence and open, interested curiosity
- Allowing
- Kindness
- Compassion
“The depth of the work with you has made it possible for me to reach deeper in myself, and to walk others through their discovery of personal wisdom. You well modeled that curious mind, and opened the space of full acceptance which I bring to my own work with clients – and which they acknowledge as a powerful catalyst for their own growth. I am grateful for your open heart, your kindness & loving presence, your holding of me as I am held by Spirit – with love. I am clear that you have been one of the torchbearers on my path.”
